  • I hope you won't take commercial failure of Arena and Undercover against the characters in them (Runaways and Avengers Academy kids). We should remember that part of their fandom saw the books not as an "buy this or they'll die/turn evil" ultimatum, but as "don't buy it so it's get cancelled before it can kill/turn evil your favorites". If fans are to chose between saving the series and saving the characters, I'd argue the book always loses.

    I don’t look at either ARENA or UNDERCOVER as commercial failures, so the question is kind of moot.

    Good to hear these characters apparently aren’t considered “sales poison” now, so here’s hoping they’ll find their way into another title before long.
